Domaine du Cellier de Bel Air · versatility · commitment

The invisible work inside a bottle

For almost a year, alongside my role at SFR, I supported the day-to-day life and takeover of the Domaine du Cellier de Bel Air in Culoz.

The story

I helped wherever support was needed: vineyard work, harvesting, bottling, customer reception and administration while the winegrower was in the field.

This allowed me to follow much of the process from grape to finished product and learn through observation, questions and practical participation in a small operation where versatility was essential.

For one particular cuvée, I proposed the name L’Innocente, took part in the manual harvest and followed the stages leading to the first bottles. The visible result was one bottle, backed by months of work, decisions and unexpected events.

What I take from it

Seeing a finished product while understanding the many actions, hours and unexpected events behind it.
